Zoe Canaras, a senior at Milton High School and a coxswain on the Varsity Women’s squad, was recently named a semifinalist in the 59th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Students are identified through exceptionally high scores on the PSAT, which they take as juniors. She will now have the opportunity to advance to the finalist round. Congratulations, Zoe!

Calling all AJRA Parents! There is no better way to kick off the fall regatta season than attending the AJRA Fall Parent Social on Sun., Sept. 15 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Inverness Clubhouse. It is a perfect opportunity to meet and talk with the coaches. Plus, you will also get to know some of the parents who will be cheering at the water’s edge with you. Since this is a potluck event, please bring an appetizer, salad, or dessert to share. Drinks will be provided. All we need is for you to join us and bring along a few nibbles to add to the fun. Hope to see all of our Novice & Varsity AJRA parents there!
Directions to Inverness Clubhouse: Leaving the AJRA Boathouse turn LEFT onto Azalea Drive and follow along the river to the light. Stay on Azalea Drive and go STRAIGHT into the Inverness neighborhood. Take your 4th RIGHT onto Club Drive and park by the clubhouse.
