AJRA is pleased to announce several new changes to the coaching staff for 2015: two promotions from within including Sarah Low and Skye Elliot, and also, the addition of two new coaches.

Novice Men’s Coach, Sarah Low, has been promoted to Program Manager. Additional responsibilities will include administering regattas and team communication, coordinating practices, and managing the boathouse.

Skye Elliot, Varsity Women’s coach, moves into the role of Head Coach while maintaining his role as Varsity Women’s Coach.

Filling the Varsity Men’s Coach vacant position is Robert Canavan. Coach Canavan comes to AJRA from Georgia Tech, where he was the Varsity Men’s Coach for 21 years.

A shift in Novice Women’s Coaching staff welcomes Jordan Smith from Emory University Rowing. Coach Laura Jakubowicz will shift into the Assistant Coach position.
