The Georgia Senate today recognized AJRA with a Senate Resolution honoring the success of the program over our 27-year history, and our results at the regional and national level the past few years. State Senators John Albers, Judson Hill, and Brandon Beach brought forward this Resolution, which was read and adopted in January.

Several of our senior athletes and their families attended the event, with four athletes representing AJRA before the legislature along with Head Coach Skye Elliot: Kathryn Cosgrove (Johns Creek HS), Matt Morelli (Roswell HS), Robbie Osborne (Roswell HS), and Kate Snyder (Northview HS).

For the fourth year straight, AJRA brought home the Team Points trophy from the 2015 Atlanta Erg Sprints, held Saturday, February 21st. Most impressively, however, AJRA rowers and coxswains turned in dominant performances across all categories, taking all three podium finishes in six different events.
