AJRA is excited to announce summer registration is now open for all summer camps! We have several camps available for rising 7th  graders and older, including our popular Learn to Row camps to learn more about rowing and about AJRA, as well as camps for experienced rowers from Varsity, Novice, Rec Team and DSquad.

All of our program registration is online — visit the AJRA homepage, and click on the Summer Registration button on the right hand side. Our spring intro programs still have a few spots in Rec and DSquad, so if your rower can’t wait till the summer, there’s still time to get started this season!

If you missed Saturday’s sale, or want to catch up and grab a few things before we jump into spring racing season and warmer weather, here’s your last chance!

There are lots of old favorites, like the long sleeve navy tech shirt (great for warming up on a chilly Saturday morning!), and new classics-to-be (see picture above!) that you won’t want to miss. Quantities are limited, so be sure to get your order in ASAP for the best chance at getting the sizes you want. You can download the order form and complete it, including payment information, then submit it to our spiritwear committee. Thank you for your support!

On Saturday, February 20th, AJRA traveled downtown to compete at the Atlanta Erg Sprints, hosted by Georgia Tech. AJRA competed in 9 events, coming home with an impressive 19 of a possible 27 podium finishes.

AJRA rowers also brought home the coveted “golden hammer” for the Junior Team Points trophy on the strength of the team performance, with 3 rowers earning an individual golden hammer for setting new regatta records in their event.

Calling all AJRA varsity and novice parents!  Let’s kick off the spring regatta season with a Parent Social on Sunday, March 6th from 6:00 – 9:00pm at the Wexford Clubhouse.  It’s a great opportunity to meet and talk with the coaches, and to get to know other parents who will be standing at water’s edge to cheer our rowers on!

Drinks will be provided.  Hope to see all of our wonderful parents there for a fun night!
