AJRA - Atlanta Junior Rowing Association

AJRA, comprised of athletes from middle schools and high schools all over North Atlanta, comes together to help support the community in many ways.

Row For The Cure

AJRA has been actively paticipating in Row For The Cure for years. The rowers have fun kicking off their Fall Season in an event that is all about raising money to help fund research for finding a cure for Cancer. Funds are raised by sponsoring a rower or a boat. All proceeds collected are donated to the Susan G. Komen foundation. AJRA believes in this worthy cause and encourages voluntary participation from our athletes.

Boy Scouts of America

AJRA works with The Boy Scouts of America to introduce rowing to their members by offering the Boy Scout Rowing Merit Badge. Many of our Varsity Men rowers have acheived the highest rank of Eagle Scout and are actively involved with teaching the merit badge clinics.

Adopt A Road

AJRA supports Adopt A Road every year. We are lucky to have the good fortune of being located in the City of Roswell. As a non-profit organization in a beautiful area, we appreciate the natural environment we enjoy the use of 6 days a week and this our small way of giving back to Roswell.
