AJRA headed downtown to compete at the 2018 Atlanta Erg Sprints, and returned back to Roswell with the club’s 7th-consecutive Golden Hammer! This team title was earned with impressive results and medal placements across all junior categories throughout the day.
This was the first spring competition for the Atlanta Juniors, and is the only indoor competition for the varsity and novice squads. Erg Sprints is a rare opportunity for rowers to compete and race individually, representing their team.
For 2018, AJRA brought home the team title with 14 medals, including 3 individual efforts that placed them in the top-20 all time record books for the club.
Junior Novice Women: Emily Kilroy – gold, Gracie Landefeld – silver

Junior Lightweight Women: Reagan Lynch – gold
Junior Women: Jasmine Lewis – silver (12th fastest all-time at AJRA)
Junior Men: Oscar Lee – gold (4th all-time), Oliver Babb – silver, Wesley Nourachi (10th all-time)
Junior Coxswain Women: Sally Weltner (silver), Kate Hadley (bronze)
Junior Coxswain Men: Connor Slawin (bronze)
Junior Team Relay: Chris Halliwell/Amanda Mitchell/Wesley Nourachi/Chloe O’Brien – gold, Zoe Bishop/Oscar Lee/Jasmine Lewis/Barrett Varnson (silver)
