AJRA at Row for the Cure

What’s better than having fun listening to music, eating and cheering our AJRA rowers on – all while helping to raise money for breast cancer research with the rest of the Atlanta rowing community?  Not much. So come on down to Azalea Park and celebrate the seventh annual “Row for the Cure” this Saturday, September 22 from 11:30 to 2:30 p.m. and do just that – have a great time.

Not only will select AJRA rowers compete in the exciting “Row for the Cure All Star Challenge Race” against rowers from St. Andrews, Emory University, Georgia Tech, Atlanta Rowing Club, and Georgia State at 1:30, but our boat will also be judged on creativity with pink at 11:30 followed by food and music by local band, Fisheye at noon.

Since this year’s fundraising goal is $75,000, all AJRA rowers are encouraged to sign-up at www.rowforthecureatlanta.org  where fundraising will continue through November 3 at the Head of the Hooch regatta in Chattanooga.   So let’s all come on down to the river and let the rest of the Atlanta rowing community know that we at AJRA always do our part for such an important cause.   See you there!
