Literally!  Mother Nature decided to Trick or Treat at the The Head of the Hooch.  With emphasis on Trick! A crazy storm blew in Friday night causing major headaches for Saturday’s racing. Starting off with delays first thing, it looked like boats would take to the water by late morning.  But the winds had other ideas. Safety always coming first, it was decided to wait until mid day to see how the weather was playing out. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate, and all race events for the day were cancelled.

Sunday rolled around and it was a cold start. But the day soon showed some sun and Sunday’s race schedule ensued. While not all saw water time, AJRA kept their spirits high cheering on those who did get to row. And most importantly, our parent chefs kept the food flowing.

Below are the results of the AJRA boats.

Men’s 2: 6th; Women’s Lightweight 8: 5th, 10th; Men’s Lightweight 8: 10th; Novice Lightweight 8: 22nd, 29th; Mixed V8: 8th, 15th; Mixed Novice 8: 5th, 10th, 17th
