Learn to Row with Atlanta Juniors this summer! Camps are now open for one-week sessions throughout June and July. Campers will learn the basics of the sport, and head out on the Chattahoochee in eight-person boats.

Saturday August 5th, AJRA will hold an open-house event with boathouse tours, rowing demonstrations on land machines, and short sessions in racing hulls. Current Atlanta Juniors athletes, coaches, and parents will be on site from 9am to 12pm for new rowers. For Summer 2017, Atlanta Junior Rowing Association will have six sessions of Learn-to-Row camps available for interested students. No experience is necessary to get started with the ultimate team sport! Campers will learn the basics of land training, and spend most of their days at the river out in racing shells.
Points North Atlanta, a local magazine focused on providing “engaging, informing and entertaining information to its affluent audience, reporting on subjects pertaining to an upscale, active lifestyle”, featured AJRA in its May issue, along with Atlanta Rowing Club and other metro-Atlanta indoor rowing facilities.
The first on-the-water competition for the Atlanta Juniors’ spring season took place on Saturday, March 18th, on Lake McIntosh in Peachtree City. AJRA hosted the event, and competed against Capital City Rowing, St. Andrew Rowing Club, and Peachtree City Rowing Club. Approximately 145 rowers represented AJRA in races for 8+’s and 4+’s, with 15 rowers making their debut as a part of the organization. […]

This Saturday, AJRA staff, rowers, and parents will be on hand at the boathouse for a preview of all rowing programs for 2017! No experience is needed for new students to get started with the ultimate team sport. Come on down to the Chattahoochee River at 10am on Saturday for a preview of Spring Break and Summer Learn to Row camps!
Saturday, March 18th, Atlanta Juniors competitive squads will launch their spring racing season by heading down to Peachtree City, Georgia, and matching up against Capital City Rowing, St. Andrew Rowing Club, and Peachtree City Rowing Club.
