AJRA rowers:  Be ready to defend the coveted Coaches Cup as the overall team winner of the Henley on the Hooch, scheduled this year for Sat., Nov. 10.   The annual race will see us go head-to-head with friendly rival St. Andrew for bragging rights.  AJRA has won the Coaches Cup for the past eight consecutive years.

The race was started in 1996 and gets its name from the famed British Henley Regatta — the longest running sporting event in the world.  It’s a great opportunity for friends and family to see rowing firsthand right on our home stretch of the Chattahoochee.  Food will be available for rowers and families, and you can also purchase spirit wear!

The preliminary schedule is as follows:

7:30am Coaches & Coxswains Meeting
9:00am – 11:00am Novice and Varsity Races
11:00am – 12:00pm D Squad Exhibition Races
12:15pm Trophy Presentation at Azalea Park

The final race schedule will be posted under the Important Info tab, Regatta Info later this week but note that all Novice and Varsity rowers are expected to be present for the entire event.
