Volunteers
Atlanta Junior Rowing Association is truly a parent driven organization. Crew is where a rower spends all their time and it really enhances the parent experience to be a part of that! It takes an immense amount of hands to coordinate all that goes into taking a large team of teenagers to an out of state regatta. We have it down to a science — from food crews to land crews, but we really need parent participation from every family. Volunteering is how parents get to know each other and being a part of it makes it a lot of fun for parents and creates a huge apprecication for how hard the athletes and their coaches work every day.
Each family is required to volunteer at least 4 hours of their time per rower. Please read our volunteer jobs in the Members Only section for full descriptions of each volunteer opportunity and email our Volunteer Coordinator, Susan Wilson today to lend a hand.
